My lucky item is an escape room today. Do you want to do one with me?

[ There's a hidden please in there. Midorima likes to make plans and include Weiss in them sometimes, but Weiss is the kind of person who would actually invite someone if she wants them around. She could make the decision for both of them, but he probably won't appreciate that. ]

[ Ah..

Weiss wants to engage in lucky items. What's more, she chose him to do it with on this particular day. Aquarius was.. green, wasn't it?

There is no one more green than Midorima. He can see why she chose him. He pushes up his glasses. ]

When does it open?

[ 7am is pretty early for an escape room.. Maybe they should go for breakfast first. He hasn't eaten yet. ]

There's one that opens at 10, though since I wasn't able to put in a reservation for a room, we'll just have to do whatever room is available.

[ She says "we", but she hasn't exactly heard him agree to it yet. ]

There's a lot of time to get ready and do whatever else you do in the morning. I mean, if you don't have any plans and you don't mind coming with me, anyway. I'd appreciate it if you did.

I typically do stretches and runs in the mornings. I can meet you somewhere for breakfast after that.

[ That'll give him some time to shower too. ]

That sounds good. What do you want to eat?

[ Since he's doing her a favour, she'll let him pick a place. ]

Cornflakes.

[ ...Yep. ]

[schmisse]

[ Excuse me??? ]

But you can just eat that at home.

That's Cancer's lucky item today.

[ Find some place that has cornflake-crusted chicken maybe..?? ]

I'll see if there's a nice place that offers cornflakes, then.

[ ... This is the weirdest conversation she's ever had. ]

If not, do you want me to bring you a box and have breakfast there?

I have a box already. They are a standard breakfast food.

[ ...He didn't have to buy his box of cereal, he just had it. It's the one from his closet, there's another open one in the cabinet. ]

Can I just meet you at your apartment before 10, then?

[ This just sounds like the more logical solution...

Weiss is going to end up in so many accidents before she gets there, though. ]

[ Hm...

Midorima knows how low her luck is, so he considers for a moment, then says: ]

No. I'll come to you.

[ ..it may be better for her to siphon off some of his luck today before she goes outside with how disastrous her luck is today. ]

[schmisse]

[ Okay, good! Weiss doesn't really realise that she could wind up in so many accidents, but she appreciates Midorima being the one to come to her, regardless. ]

Do you want me to prepare anything?

[ If he's going to have breakfast at her apartment, she means. ]

Not unless you want something else for breakfast.

[ He's bringing his cereal? That's enough for him. ]

[schmisse]

Not really.

[ She'll have fruits too, but she figures she can just offer it to him later. ]

I'll see you.

[ After he hangs up, he realizes he should've specified that they need milk for in the cereal.

He ends up also lugging a gallon of milk out of their fridge along with him when he finally does leave after he finishes up what he's doing. After about an hour, he shows up. Because he did have to do his run and shower and such. ]

[schmisse]

[ Weiss doesn't look like she's ready to go to an escape room. She's still in a dress!!

She's a little confused when she sees him at her doorstep, though. ]

Why did you bring milk?

[ She lives with Ruby who eats cookies everyday... ofc they'd have milk. Not that Midorima would know that, anyway, but he could have asked... ]

I didn't know if you had any.

[ He's never seen Weiss out of a dress, so he has no reason to question it. He'll question it if he ends up inviting her to do anything physical with him... but an escape room he doesn't think is physical, so he doesn't see why not.

He also clearly thinks bringing milk was less embarrassing than calling again. ]

[schmisse]

[ It's not embarrassing to call again... ]

Sure.

[ She's not gonna argue. He's a dummy. ]

Come in. I'll get a bowl for you.

Do you have one for yourself?

[ He'll pour her some cereal too.. ]

[ She blinks rapidly a couple of times, processing what he said. Ah, he's offering to share? ]

I'll get one, too.

[ Maybe just a little. She's planning on having fruits for breakfast. ]

Have a seat. Ruby and the others are out, so you can sit anywhere.

[ He's not just going to eat in front of her, he'll share. She needs all the luck she can get today, after all, even if it's his..

He looks around for a moment, surveying the environment before just.. sitting wherever the kitchen table is. It seems most logical. ]

Do they usually leave early?

[schmisse]

Just today.

[ Something about Blake and Yang going somewhere and Ruby said she wanted to spend time with her sister, too... ideally, it could have been turned into a team event, but Weiss has opted to stay because she already made plans with Midorima. ]

I'll introduce you to them sometime. Ruby already knows you because of that time, though.

[ When they switched bodies, she means. ]

[ It takes him a moment to figure out what she means. Ah.. that time. ]

She may know my face, she doesn't know me. She better not act overly familiar because of that.

[ He will act like Blake around dogs if she acts too familiar. ]

I'll tell her to behave.

[ She thinks Ruby's going to try and impress Midorima. She's weird like that.

She takes a seat in front of him and offers him a bowl and a spoon. There's a plateful of oranges, apples, and sliced bananas, too. ]
