[For Midorima it's probably been a pretty nice, quiet week-- not that living next to Miu meant the opposite, since she's quiet anyhow. But it's a...different sort of quiet now. Distracted. If she catches Midorima in the hall or anything, she hardly speaks to him, usually only saying that she's got lessons and doesn't have time to talk. Also not entirely unusual except that the number of lessons and rehearsals and things she's been going to seems to have doubled and she comes home exhausted.

She's forgotten--or maybe just hasn't had time to--drop off food too, with or without the excuse of making too much.

So it might seem a bit strange when, after a little over a week of this strange behavior, she's knocking on his door sometime in the afternoon, looking uncharacteristically anxious.]

[ This is stupid, Weiss tells herself, but she decides to do it, anyway. It sucks when somebody important to you has disappeared, but she at least knows she'll see Ruby again. All she has to do is go home. Ruby disappearing won't be a permanent thing, but if the friends who aren't from Remnant that she's made here disappear, then that'll just be upsetting.

Like what she told Jaune earlier, she'll try to make the most out of her time here. That means doing stupid things like checking up on people for the sake of checking up on them. And, okay, maybe she could use somebody to talk to. ]

[ Money is hard, but Kuroko did his best for Christmas. Midorima is gifted a tin of cookies decorated with various lucky items he'd had throughout the year. The second is a bigger but joint gift: a commissioned shogi board.]
