Can I see yours in full sometime?

[ He's happy to brag about himself, but he can't actually do it properly to show off yet, so he's going to move onto her. He's only seen hers incidentally- the ice when she walks, or little flurries. He wants to see hers properly. ]

I've only seen you use it incidentally. Even if it's just ice, it's of interest to someone from a world without any of this.

[ Maybe don't freeze him, just make it snow or something cool :T Though maybe that's too much to ask. He's well aware that this is done by focusing on emotional reactions. ]

[ Weiss, on the other hand, finishes her crepe. She enjoys the food here because they're light snacks. The coffee is good, too. She definitely prefers buying coffee from cafes than making her own. ]

[ He doesn't know her life, he's only ever seen Weiss at the park with Zwei. ]

[ It's probably better that Zwei stick with Yang for a bit just so she's a little less lonely. The blonde took the news a bit harsher than Weiss thought she would. Weiss would want to be with Yang and make sure she doesn't do anything reckless, but she also needs some time for herself. ]

[ And she obviously needs comfort of some kind and Midorima is the worst at that? He has no idea how to help her besides sitting here and trying not to be as much of an ass as normal. ]

[ It's not like anybody can take Ruby's place. She's fine with just the company of some people. It's nice to know that she still has friends here. ]

Sometimes I wish cars were more prominent in this place. [ While walking is good, the park's still a distance from here! ] I don't mind walking, but we can also take a carriage.

In Japan, our public transportation is so effective most people don't bother ever learning to drive or owning cars. Takao and I use a rear car and a bike. The carriages are fine.

[ He doesn't talk to a lot of people about Takao here. It brings up a strained feeling in the pit of his stomach, one he doesn't want to explain even if he's sure everyone here has it toward someone. Weiss obviously does, considering what happened with Ruby. It's duller now from time, but it hasn't gone away. He can't help but think it must be a lot worse fresh again. It's probably better they don't walk and get to the park so they can do something properly distracting for Weiss. ]

Weiss listens to Midorima, though, and as they leave the cafe and enter the streets, she looks around for a carriage to hail. Or maybe they can go to one of the waiting areas, either way, it seems that getting a carriage today is relatively easy. ]

We lived in dormitories in school, so all we had to do was walk to class. [ Or run, if they were late. Thanks, Ruby! ] But to travel to the city, we'd have to ride an airship.

[ He will, since he got the last word in!!

That's a new one though. ]

An air ship?

The ones we have in Remnant are a lot more advanced than the ones here, though. [ Unless Midorima's never ridden one before? Weiss looks at him briefly before she finally gets to hail a carriage.

Once in, she continues. ]

You can actually travel to Shaarnath and Theasthai on an airship, but the teleporters are definitely faster.

We have something called an airplane in my world that I assume is similar. I stay mostly in Verens here.

[ He's been on a plane, but not on an air ship. Seated, Midorima adjusts what is in his pocket since it took on a weird angle when he sat. It's his lucky item, of course, a folded pocket map. ]

There are planes in Remnant, too. Even jets. It's a lot easier to ride airships, though, since the number of people you can transport are a lot and there are also a lot of amenities and rooms.

[ At least, she assumes the airplanes in Midorima's world are the same as most planes for travel where she's from. They can keep talking about this or talk about something else until they reach the park, in which case Weiss hops down and pays the guy a few sylvs for bringing them there. ]

[ Idle chit-chat about planes and other parts of their world fades away as they exit the carriage. Midorima looks around the park for an area that seems to be mostly unoccupied and starts walking toward it. ]

How much room do you think you'll need?
