[ Weiss nods then heads to the bathroom to wash her hands. She doesn't really do much meddling with the stuff inside except put the cap back on a bottle... and then she heads out to where the piano is.
Midorima's let her in, so she assumes she doesn't need his explicit permission to use the piano now. So she sits down and practises some scales as a warm-up. ]
[ Midorima's fine with her going off on her own, and it thankfully gives him a moment to recover from her pheromones. He needed it, honestly. Even after she's gone he's still thinking about it as he washes the dishes. He takes his time and is very thorough with it and it's a good chance to calm down.
Eventually he comes out to join her, a book in hand. He has no intention of interrupting but he does want to listen to her practice. He sits in a chair some space away though to try to avoid getting smacked in the face with her scent again. ]
[ Once she's passed through the major scales, she begins to vocalise. She goes through the major scales again, but this time, practises her voice, too. Then she goes up a key, and again, and again.
She could pay attention to Midorima. Part of her wants to talk and get to know him better and do something with him, but part of her feels a little pressured to do well because she has to- because there's a musical coming up that she's part of.
Her eyes do flicker his way from time to time though. Is she trying to get his attention? A little. ]
[ Weiss's plan to get his attention suffers greatly from the fact that even if Midorima wants to pay attention to her, he respects practice far too much to interrupt or intentionally be a distraction. He'll help her with the piano if she needs help, but he's not going to interrupt her unless she draws attention first.
That's just the kind of person he is. Practice is important, and he wouldn't stop if someone interrupted him unless it was unavoidable. ]
[ ... Hm. It's a little annoying to blatantly ask for somebody's attention, but she's not exactly herself right now. The need for attention and not receiving it somehow powers her pheromones all the more, making the scent stronger and more enticing.
Still, she says nothing, until she's gone through a scale upwards and then downwards. It doesn't take more than five minutes. ]
Of course you're not, you're filling the entire apartment with pheromones!
[ He just blurts it out this time. It's too overwhelming.. if he comes near her, he's going to kiss her. He can already feel that. So she damn well better consent and realize what she's doing first. ]
You need to practice, I would have invited you anyway if you needed it. I was trying not to make you uncomfortable. I can go in my room if you would prefer.
[ He's never wanted to kiss someone on a piano bench before. Either way, she has the more important task here. He's simply spending time with her. ]
[ She kind of feels awkward now. Not because she feels like Midorima intends to make a move on her or anything, but no one's ever pointed out that she had a specific scent before! ]
When the moon is out like this, I get a little more friendly. [ Just a disclaimer. Though Midorima's already experienced that with her- her saying they have to get along and her practically latching onto him and all that. ] I wish I could say I could help it, but I actually like it. It's... nice being close to people.
[ So he's right. Ah.. he was already working on the one it was on already in his head. What a waste of time-- but he refocuses on the one she wants to play and reads it over quickly, staying quiet as he does. Once he gets a brief overview, he's ready to play by sight. ]
[ Midorima starts a few seconds after she says she's ready, playing through rather well despite having only just seen the piece a few moments ago. It helps that they work together, so he's heard the music from a distance, so mistakes are few and far between. ]
[ Weiss has practiced a bunch of times already, so it's just polishing that needs to be done. She manages to do well and sing well, although it seems as the longer her voice fills the room, so do her pheromones. Sorry, Midorima. ]
[ He manages to play through the end of the song, but his concentration is almost completely on her by the end of it. If he didn't know about the pheromones, he would've assumed she was some kind of siren. As soon as he plays the last note, he turns to look at her intensely. ]

[ Washing the dishes is Midorima's!! Job!
Because Tsumugi does so much of the cooking. He even got himself special gloves to protect his fingers while he washes.. ]

[ If he's gonna insist, then she won't say no. She'd prefer not to do house chores in the first place. ]
Can I use your bathroom, then? Where is it?

Right side second door in the hall.

Midorima, how good at you at sight reading?

[ Is she turning them up on purpose somehow?? Even he can tell they're way stronger than before!! ]

[ ... He probably didn't mean it that way, right??? ]
I'm not disgusting!
[ what the fuck!!!! ]

I— You should have said so!
[ Oh my god this is so embarrassing... ]

I'm not uncomfortable, just embarrassed. You can go wherever you want. I won't disturb you.

[ Maybe he can.. limit its effects by getting closer? He sighs and finally gives in to her original request, coming over to the piano bench. ]

[ She latched onto his arm the first day he saw her during a moon, after all. ]
It's not annoying when you do it.
[ Strong compliment here. He's looking over the last page of the music that she was on now. ]

[ She won't... hug him or anything, but she'll move closer so she can point out what specific part she wants him to focus on if he plays. ]

[ The way he phrases it is more like he expects her to regardless. ]
At this distance I don't think it's going to affect anything.
[ Oh boy is he wrong. ]

[ WHY IS HE LIKE THIS!!! But she's just going to do what she wants if he keeps being a snob. ]
Try this one.
[ She flips through the pieces until they get to a short piece, but it's a solo, so Weiss wants to really do well when performing it. ]
