[ She's admittedly a little surprised by what Midorima said, but... there's a bigger part of her that likes the attention. She likes that he's being nice to her, not kicking her out or not bossing her around. She's not sure if it's because of the Cordis moon that she feels a little more excited, but the idea of being kissed by him doesn't sound bad at all.
She shifts in her seat so she can properly face him, then she moves closer so she can reach for his glasses with both hands. ]
I don't like getting close to people, but I don't think I'd mind if it was with you.
[ He's cute, he lets her use his piano, he's smart!! His personality needs a little work but Weiss isn't exactly the nicest person in the world, either. Plus, a part of her actually wants him to like her. Maybe it's because she doesn't want to push people away anymore. So, here she is, moving even closer until her chest bumps into his arm. She'd moved with the intention of taking his glasses off, but a kiss along the way doesn't sound bad at all. ]
[ He turns his eyes away from her as she puts her hands up at his face, but stays still. It's... surprising, that she said she wouldn't mind. He doesn't think he's giving off pheromones, and he doesn't think he's particularly attractive to anyone who doesn't meet the qualifications of eccentric moron or they haven't actually had a conversation with him. It's surprising that Weiss is okay with this.
He moves his hand up to rest on her arm as he leans in to kiss her. It's slow and uncertain. It's his first kiss after all, and he doesn't know what he's doing. ]
[ It's fine if Midorima doesn't know what he's doing. Weiss wouldn't say she's experienced or anything but she at least has kissed people before that she'd take the lead. Not that... she knows what Midorima is thinking and feeling at this time! It's just that she's fine and okay with this and possibly wants this too.
Midorima would feel Weiss' lips curve into a small smile when their lips touch, and she presses against him some more just so she can remove his glasses away from his face. She's not sure what Midorima wants, though. He just said he'd kiss her, and that's fine with her. She's not sure what kind of kiss he wants, so she doesn't do anything more than a chaste and sweet one that tastes a little bit like the red bean soup he'd so graciously shared with her earlier. ]
[ The smile is encouraging. He finds he likes it when Weiss smiles, even if he's not particularly sure why. Most people he doesn't particularly care for or he thinks smile too often. Weiss only smiles when she really means it or when she's acting for the play, at least in his experience, which means it's easy for Midorima to interpret. Right now, she's enjoying herself. She's also pressing against him a lot and it's embarrassing. But she also tastes good, and not just because of the soup. (Though that does help.) He kisses her for a few seconds more after she pulls off his glasses, then pulls back and looks away, then clears his throat. ]
[ A feather from her hair ends up on Midorima's lap when Weiss pulls away, falling down in the midst of it all. It's probably weird, who knows.
Weiss doesn't put his glasses back on, though, opting to observe him first like this. His eyes are small, but his lashes are long. They're a nice, deep green, and it's a little easy to get lost in. ]
Me neither, [ She says with a tiny laugh. ] Can you see me like this?
[ She's been him without his glasses before. SHE KNOWS HOW BAD THIS IS. But it's Weiss so he at least trusts her to give them back, especially since she did ask first. ]
I'm just checking. I'm a lot closer now, so I was wondering if there would be a difference.
Close your eyes so I can put them back on you.
[ She's careful enough that it shouldn't poke him in the eyes or anything, but she wants to play it safe. Not to mention... when she agreed that she didn't dislike it, that meant she liked it. If he complies and closes his eyes, she's going to slip the glasses back on and then give him a kiss on the cheek.
You're more in focus than if you were further away. I can tell it's you because you're lighter colored than most people.
[ She is the whitest person he's ever met ok, she looks like a blurry snowball without his glasses. But when he's like this, most people he can't even tell the difference between.
He closes his eyes again though, waiting for her to put them back on. ]
[ Midorima doesn't quite know how to express that he's had his first kiss today, or how to say that he wants Weiss to know that he would do it even if it wasn't during Cordis. He's pretty sure he likes her at least a little.
He'll have to kiss her sometime when they're not under duress like the body swap or riding high on pheromones. He's always better at actions than words, and he's fine with moving on to focus on the piano pieces. She came here for a reason after all, and it wasn't to spend time with him-- and for Midorima, that isn't a bad thing. She's a hard worker, he's glad that she's over here to work. He nods and goes to read through the piece quickly before starting it for her. ]
[ It's too bad Midorima's not saying anything about it, because she's mostly attributing that kiss to the whole Cordis cycle. She's a lot nicer and more receptive when the Cordis moon is out. If she were in a good mood outside of Cordis, she'd probably kiss him again, though, if he said he wanted to.
He's nice, but it sometimes feel like she has to walk on egg shells around him so she doesn't end up getting yelled at or ignored. It's a little difficult to read him most of the time. While she normally doesn't care what other people think of her, a part of her really wants him to like her.
She waits for the next set of measures before she starts singing. She knows the parts already, so it's just a matter of maintaining quality until the end of the shows. Weiss has practised a ton of times; she sings at a performance level even though they're just practising now. ]
[ Eventually, he'll clarify it. Perhaps not today, because he wants to be sure of everything he does. Weiss is one of the rare people he doesn't want to completely piss off who accepts him regardless of his grump and attitude.
For now, he continues to play the song as she requests, paying attention to her vocal keys as much as he's sight reading, and at one point improvising a little within the correct key to see if he can throw her off. You have to be prepared for anything on stage, Weiss. Who let Midorima take an interest in jazz anyway to get him to develop skills enough for improvisation. ]
[ Of course she's going to get thrown off. Her eyes go wide and her brows furrow as she looks at him, but she doesn't let that distract her from singing. She follows the melody of the piece, expression calming down a few measures later once she can tell that Midorima did that intentionally or that he wouldn't do it again. ]
[ He gives a little smirk when she clearly stays on point. He's playing. Not just playing piano, but he likes to do playful things when he plays piano. Music is fun for him, even if it isn't something he seeks to do professionally. When they're done, he stops playing and glances at her, though the smirk is gone. ]
Let's just hope the actual pianist doesn't make any mistakes once we start performing.
[ Because!! That would be terrible!! She gets it, though. The show must go on, et cetera.
She scoots a little closer to reach the proper keys and plays the part Midorima toyed around with earlier, adding her own take on it. A little improvisation certainly doesn't hurt - it adds your own flavour to a piece! ]
Maybe something like this would have been better, though. [ And eventually, she continues, reading the piece while adding some more flair. The style of the song itself changes, and she sings along, following a different, more upbeat rhythm now. ]
[ This is actually pretty fun?? And she's going to let him play the bassline, following what he's set up so she can harmonise with it. The song sounds so much different now, and she sings along again until they get to the end. ]
[ They've got to make sure to keep it in the right key, but as long as they do it should sound fine. It's certainly got a different vibe to the song now, but it's enjoyable to play and listen to her sing anyway. ]
[ It's not the whole piece she has a solo in, but she does have a verse and she sings in the chorus. She may as well practice the whole thing even if she's by herself. (Well, Midorima is there, but he's not singing.)
She flips the book towards the back to show him. It's a pretty lengthy piece, but less complicated than the earlier pieces since the focus is the vocals. ]

You have nice eyes.

Can you help out with this one?
