[ He just blurts it out this time. It's too overwhelming.. if he comes near her, he's going to kiss her. He can already feel that. So she damn well better consent and realize what she's doing first. ]

[ Her eyes go wide and she looks away immediately, crossing her arms. Of course she's going to get defensive. ]

[ Oh my god this is so embarrassing... ]

I had no idea! I wouldn't have come if I knew!

You need to practice, I would have invited you anyway if you needed it. I was trying not to make you uncomfortable. I can go in my room if you would prefer.

[ He's never wanted to kiss someone on a piano bench before. Either way, she has the more important task here. He's simply spending time with her. ]

No, it's— it's fine.

[ She sits back down and places her hands on the keys. ]

I'm not uncomfortable, just embarrassed. You can go wherever you want. I won't disturb you.

When I tried to distance myself, it got stronger, so I doubt that's an option.

[ Maybe he can.. limit its effects by getting closer? He sighs and finally gives in to her original request, coming over to the piano bench. ]

[ She kind of feels awkward now. Not because she feels like Midorima intends to make a move on her or anything, but no one's ever pointed out that she had a specific scent before! ]

When the moon is out like this, I get a little more friendly. [ Just a disclaimer. Though Midorima's already experienced that with her- her saying they have to get along and her practically latching onto him and all that. ] I wish I could say I could help it, but I actually like it. It's... nice being close to people.

[ She latched onto his arm the first day he saw her during a moon, after all. ]

[ Strong compliment here. He's looking over the last page of the music that she was on now. ]

Can I move closer, then?

[ She won't... hug him or anything, but she'll move closer so she can point out what specific part she wants him to focus on if he plays. ]

[ The way he phrases it is more like he expects her to regardless. ]

At this distance I don't think it's going to affect anything.

[ Oh boy is he wrong. ]

[schmisse]

I wouldn't if you'd say no!

[ WHY IS HE LIKE THIS!!! But she's just going to do what she wants if he keeps being a snob. ]

[ She flips through the pieces until they get to a short piece, but it's a solo, so Weiss wants to really do well when performing it. ]

I didn't say no.

[ So he's right. Ah.. he was already working on the one it was on already in his head. What a waste of time-- but he refocuses on the one she wants to play and reads it over quickly, staying quiet as he does. Once he gets a brief overview, he's ready to play by sight. ]

Let me know when you're ready.

[schmisse]

[ She takes a deep breath, straightens her back, and squares her shoulders. She seems pretty relaxed despite all that. ]

I'm ready.

[accurately]

[ Midorima starts a few seconds after she says she's ready, playing through rather well despite having only just seen the piece a few moments ago. It helps that they work together, so he's heard the music from a distance, so mistakes are few and far between. ]

[schmisse]

[ Weiss has practiced a bunch of times already, so it's just polishing that needs to be done. She manages to do well and sing well, although it seems as the longer her voice fills the room, so do her pheromones. Sorry, Midorima. ]

[ He manages to play through the end of the song, but his concentration is almost completely on her by the end of it. If he didn't know about the pheromones, he would've assumed she was some kind of siren. As soon as he plays the last note, he turns to look at her intensely. ]

[schmisse]

[ She's looking at him as the pieces ends, fully expecting some feedback. More praise than criticism, really. She thinks she did pretty well? ]

[ He's just staring, as if he's trying to determine his next course of action.

He really wants to kiss her.

But he doesn't want to do it just because of her pheromones and he can't tell if it's that or if it's that he actually likes her, because there is basically no one else he would let come over and use his piano while they were giving off an attractant.

So he isn't sure what to do here. ]

Midorima?

[ Don't stare at her?? Now she's feeling a little self-conscious, and she looks at him too. Whatever he's thinking, she wants to know.

He has nice eye, she notices. They're deep in colour and his eyelashes are long. She kind of wants to take off his glasses just to see how they look without them, but she also doesn't want to get kicked out of here?! So of course, she says that. It's not like she can keep her mouth shut, anyway. ]

Can I take off your glasses?

[ This is so far from what Midorima was thinking that it visibly befuddles him for a brief moment. ..At the very least, it's interrupted his want to kiss her. It's still there, but it's enough of a distraction that he's not tempted to just do it and explain later. That would probably be bad anyway. Shouldn't he ask first? He should ask first. Weiss doesn't seem like she'd be the type to find it acceptable to just take what he wants-- particularly since he's offering her something, and he wants Weiss to still want to come around.

...If he was just giving into pheromones, then he wouldn't be considering that.

Midorima takes a few moments to answer. He's definitely taking his time deciding on this. (Though the decision is something very different than what Weiss's question was...) He straightens his back more than normal if possible, tilting his head back a little so his chin is further up. It looks like he's literally turning his nose up at her, but.. ]

You can, but you should know that I'm going to kiss you if your face gets too close to me.

[ What kind of attempt to ask for permission is that.. he sounds so indignant about it too... ]

[schmisse]

[ She's admittedly a little surprised by what Midorima said, but... there's a bigger part of her that likes the attention. She likes that he's being nice to her, not kicking her out or not bossing her around. She's not sure if it's because of the Cordis moon that she feels a little more excited, but the idea of being kissed by him doesn't sound bad at all.

She shifts in her seat so she can properly face him, then she moves closer so she can reach for his glasses with both hands. ]

I don't like getting close to people, but I don't think I'd mind if it was with you.

[ He's cute, he lets her use his piano, he's smart!! His personality needs a little work but Weiss isn't exactly the nicest person in the world, either. Plus, a part of her actually wants him to like her. Maybe it's because she doesn't want to push people away anymore. So, here she is, moving even closer until her chest bumps into his arm. She'd moved with the intention of taking his glasses off, but a kiss along the way doesn't sound bad at all. ]

[ He turns his eyes away from her as she puts her hands up at his face, but stays still. It's... surprising, that she said she wouldn't mind. He doesn't think he's giving off pheromones, and he doesn't think he's particularly attractive to anyone who doesn't meet the qualifications of eccentric moron or they haven't actually had a conversation with him. It's surprising that Weiss is okay with this.

He moves his hand up to rest on her arm as he leans in to kiss her. It's slow and uncertain. It's his first kiss after all, and he doesn't know what he's doing. ]

[schmisse]

[ It's fine if Midorima doesn't know what he's doing. Weiss wouldn't say she's experienced or anything but she at least has kissed people before that she'd take the lead. Not that... she knows what Midorima is thinking and feeling at this time! It's just that she's fine and okay with this and possibly wants this too.

Midorima would feel Weiss' lips curve into a small smile when their lips touch, and she presses against him some more just so she can remove his glasses away from his face. She's not sure what Midorima wants, though. He just said he'd kiss her, and that's fine with her. She's not sure what kind of kiss he wants, so she doesn't do anything more than a chaste and sweet one that tastes a little bit like the red bean soup he'd so graciously shared with her earlier. ]

[ The smile is encouraging. He finds he likes it when Weiss smiles, even if he's not particularly sure why. Most people he doesn't particularly care for or he thinks smile too often. Weiss only smiles when she really means it or when she's acting for the play, at least in his experience, which means it's easy for Midorima to interpret. Right now, she's enjoying herself. She's also pressing against him a lot and it's embarrassing. But she also tastes good, and not just because of the soup. (Though that does help.) He kisses her for a few seconds more after she pulls off his glasses, then pulls back and looks away, then clears his throat. ]

I didn't dislike that.

[ He liked it, he means. ]

[schmisse]

[ A feather from her hair ends up on Midorima's lap when Weiss pulls away, falling down in the midst of it all. It's probably weird, who knows.

Weiss doesn't put his glasses back on, though, opting to observe him first like this. His eyes are small, but his lashes are long. They're a nice, deep green, and it's a little easy to get lost in. ]

Me neither, [ She says with a tiny laugh. ] Can you see me like this?

No. You know that.

[ She's been him without his glasses before. SHE KNOWS HOW BAD THIS IS. But it's Weiss so he at least trusts her to give them back, especially since she did ask first. ]
