The chest caught my attention! I think it's awesome, like a pirate's chest! And then you put jewelry in it and it IS pirate's chest with treasure!
[And then he got distracted and started chatting with the booth attendant. But out of all festival games, that's probably the only one he's decent at.]
[ His eyes follow Kise's and then he heads toward the fish scooping, asking for some paper nets. ]
Choose a water yo-yo or a fish.
[ They have water yo-yos as prizes for the people who don't want a pet fish. EIther way, he's getting Kise something in exchange for the prizes Kise got him. ..But he also just wants to play the game and be impressive at it. ]
[ Midorima kneels down next to the tank and looks around for a moment after he says he wants one. He's deciding which one to get him, and when he spots one like this he thinks it's a good one to get him. He's pretty sure these are expensive in Japan, though there are a couple in here so maybe they're more common in Prisma. Or maybe they're just lucky to find something similar to a Tosakin. Who knows. Either way, it's a little baby one so it should last for a while.
And he gets it in one fell swoop, of course. Midorima is really good at this game. ]
[Kise greets the vendor attendant and then stands a bit to the side to watch as Midorima kneels down to get ready to scoop the fish. There are so many of them too, and he wonders after which one will Midorima go after.
And true to his word, he gets. In one move too! The attendant looks disgruntled as he readies little bag with water for it but Kise looks elated.]
[ He pushes up his glasses and once the attendant has the bag, he puts the fish in the bag and lets him prepare him for transport by tying the bag off. Midorima still hasn't broken his scoop so by the rules he should be able to get him as many as he can until it breaks. So he sets out to do just that, though pointedly is only going for goldfish unless Kise says he wants something else. Anything else will ruin the scoop because it's too heavy, so he isn't trying for one unless Kise says he wants something. ]
Just one more will be enough for me, Midorimacchi.
[If Midorima wants to catch more than that, those would be for him. Kise thinks two are more than enough, they will be a beautiful pair in the living room. He's known for being easily excitable, but now he almost resembles a child.]
[ Hmm. He wants to kiss Kise right now. He looks really cute, having so much fun in that yukata...
Being in public is awful.
Midorima turns his eyes away from Kise silently and scoops more fish. Kise said two, but Midorima's just going to keep going until the net can't take anymore.
Or rather, until his bowl is full. There are about 25 fish in his bowl when he turns to Kise and says: ]
[At first, Kise has no idea why would Midorima scoop up so many fishes. The guy looks disgruntled a bit, the same way the attendant at the other vendor was when Kise won all the prizes.
But when Midorima stands up and shows him the bowl with the fishes to pick whichever he wants, he can feel voice catch in his throat. The feeling is mutual, Midorima- he too wants to kiss living daylights out of you.
He clears throat and smiles, rubbing at his cheek with the back of his hand, and leans to look over the fishes Midorima had caught.]
Umm, the first one, for sure, because it's the first one... and then, man it's so hard to choose!... Oh~! That one- golden one, with greenish tail! [It's not exactly goldfish, but it's a small one, so it will fit the round aquarium.]
[ Midorima nods and brings the bowl back over to the attendant and points to the one that Kise wants for him to bag. ]
You can keep the rest, I have no intention of taking all of your fish.
[ ...Midorima doesn't know what he would do with that many fish, he just wanted to play the game. So at least the attendant shouldn't be too mad that he's going to town on the game. ]
[The owner seems to sigh (whether in relief or annoyance, it's hard to tell) and packs up both of them in a bag, tying it with a cute, blue rope.
Kise takes it from him and nods, then turns around and lifts it up so he can look at them up close. The lights from the festival break through the water and the tails almost look translucent, glimmering softly.]
They are so pretty... [he turns head towards Midorima with a bright smile,] Thank you so much, Midorimacchi, they are amazing!
[ He doesn't tell him what for, but it's not unreasonable for Midorima to just want somewhere quiet. He's not going to do anything untoward but he does still want to apply kiss to face. ]
[He doesn't question Midorima's requests at this point; besides there is nothing wrong with wanting to sit in quiet area after noisy streets of festival.
There are garden sections of the park, and park in general has little visitors, most of them probably visiting stalls. Wherever Midorima spots a good place to sit down and stay, Kise will happily follow after him.]
[ Kise may find it a little odd that Midorima finds a place behind a hedge on the other side of some sidewalk. At the very least, two of their sides are covered and the other direction isn't facing crowds. ]
[He does find it odd, but also he knows Midorima isn't much of people person and likes his privacy. So he doesn't question it much when he leads them to a secluded bench and he happily sits down, next to Midorima.]

[ Kise you aren't a pirate.. ]
no subject
Well, we could make a game and someone COULD try to plunder it! A hide and seek, but with pirate's chest!
no subject
[ It's fine just as a jewelry box to him... ]
no subject
It could be a fun game. Like one hides the box, makes a "map" of where the box is and then the others try to find it. Treasure hunt!
[It's a perfect jewelry box to him too but since they are on the topic of pirates and plundering.]
no subject
[ It's actually pretty impressive. It definitely doesn't really matter right now, but he can't help but think that Kise would be good with kids. ]
no subject
[Yeah, he probably would be good with them, as he's sometimes very much child at heart.]
Oh! There's the stall! [With fish scooping!]

omg. They exchanged fishes
[He follows up next to Midorima as they approach the vendor. What does he want...? Water yo-yo is cool but goldfish is more... personal?]
Goldfish! I buy it a cute, little aquarium. And keep it in the living room.
fish trade...

aww they have each other's fish now ;;
And true to his word, he gets. In one move too! The attendant looks disgruntled as he readies little bag with water for it but Kise looks elated.]
That was so fast! You're awesome, Midorimacchi!

[ He huffs and pushes his glasses up. A standard response, of course. But he is glad Kise likes the fish. ]

He steps up next to him and nods.]
Still, thanks. I'll take good care of them, I promise!

[ A new excuse to come over. ]
Let's find somewhere to sit so they aren't jostled much more.
no subject
[Kise will take it.]
They said they set up blankets and picnic tables in the park. Not sure what for, as there are no fireworks, but maybe there are nice gardens?
