[Does he need to reply to that? Most likely not, so he won't. Aomine just decides to wait and play with the puppy meanwhile. At least he has all he needs for the puppy, thanks to getting some help from someone.]
[ It takes him about a half hour as he states. Midorima would say that he just happened to have free time now, but he did have to rearrange some of his schedule to make time for this. The animal's wellbeing depends on it... and, Aomine being responsible is something worth rearranging his schedule for one day over.
One thing he brought over was a baby gate-- a key training tool for teaching the animal what locations were and weren't allowed. He doubted Aomine got one, and that Aomine had trained the dog not to dash out of the door. So he holds it in the doorjam before knocking on the door to catch any potential wayward pups that try to come flying through. ]
[How right of you to assume that he hasn't really trained the puppy yet. Mostly he's been trying to get her settled and used to his presence (which... was very easy).
The puppy indeed tries to dash out in excitement so the baby gate confuses her. She sniffs it with a confused whine.]
Oh... thanks. I tried to keep her back but...
[Puppies, what can you do.]
PFFT I CONFUSED OUR THREADS IGNORE THE LAST TAG I SENT.. im still not a morning person it seems
It was a useful tool in training Merlin. There are more expensive methods available, but they're a little too intelligent for you.
[ A baby gate will stop a puppy for sure though, as long as it's not a climber. But he can get him little sound barriers and stuff later if he decides to go that route.
Merlin is hooked on a leash to Midorima's belt, and he's trying to sniff Sangou through the babygate now too. It's also useful for this sort of thing so they don't just go at each other. ]
[ Midorima picks up the baby gate and Merlin darts forward to try to jump up Aomine's leg to get to Sangou, but the leash length stops him. Midorima comes in and closes the door behind him, setting the babygate down against the wall for Aomine to use when he goes in and out. ]
Do you have a leash in case they get territorial with each other?

both have puppers, it's okay
Sangou sniffs right back at Merlin, curious about this new potential friend?! ]
Come on...
[Aomine lifts her up, deciding the best way to let Midorima and his dog in is to just hold her in arms. Sangou immediately starts washing his face.]
