That's fine. You're already doing more than enough for me, really.
[ Yeah, he might be appreciative of Midorima going out of his way but there's no way Mayuzumi will let the guy cook for him.
Even if that lunch box still smells fantastic. There's something else beyond tasty food that Mayuzumi can't quite put his finger on though, that first became noticeable when he stood behind Midorima while the guy unlocked the door: a subtle and inviting kind of fragrance that made Mayuzumi want to take two steps closer and just nuzzle his face against that soft tanuki tail fur.
...Seriously, he really needs to rein in his light-novel-generated interest in cute animal ears and tails if it's making him have weird thoughts like that. Sure, Mayuzumi does like Midorima as someone relaxing to hang around and quietly read with, but isn't that a beyond strange urge to have for a guy he was trying to form an informal genre reading club with before he ended up here? Maybe being so hungry is messing with his brain...
At least cooking will be a distraction and something to do with his hands so they stop itching from wanting to scritch those adorable furry ears. He takes stock of what's in the cabinets and fridge, and starts to pull out ingredients for some quick stir-fried noodles. ]
I haven't noticed anything weird like that happening to me and I've been here a few days, though. I guess I've either been lucky or aligned differently.
