Scrolls in Remnant are similar to what we have now. You can make Scrolls more compact though, so they fit easily in your pocket. Having a touch screen also makes things a lot easier.

I don't believe so. Firstly, I don't believe there are "futile efforts" in anything. Second, I've been maintaining practice with the magic obtained through moonblessings here, as I told you. While it may be that I cannot learn all magic, there are venues that I can explore.
